Here you can taste the region. The kitchen in the country inn is shaped by the boss. Roswitha Balter, born in the Eifel, cooks traditional regional dishes. For her, "bourgeois" is not a traditional cooking style, but an incentive and obligation. At Balter´s the dishes are served fresh and according to the seasons. The large number of regular guests proves the family right: It simply tastes good in the country inn.

Gemütlichkeit - Bitburger Pils, Eifeler Landbier, Sünner Kölsch or Belgian Leffe Klosterbier, these varieties are drawn fresh and with care. Eifelers, visitors to Balter´s Ardenner Center and tourists meet at the bar in the cosy tavern for a chat. Hermann-Josef Balter can still tell many stories from the time when Losheim belonged to Belgium and Balter´s was the favourite pub of both customs officers and some smugglers.

Extend pleasure - stay overnight at a reasonable price - The country inn also invites you to short and longer stays. Located at the interface between the Eifel and the Ardennes, you can still experience undisturbed nature.

Societies and groups - Balter´s always offer the right setting for large and small occasions: Ten up to 250 guests can experience a carefree and comfortable time in the country inn, optimally supplied from kitchen and cellar. Who would like to remain rather in the own private areas, can enjoy nevertheless Balter´s service. A comprehensive catering is possible.
